What's Going On CVS?

June Cobra Code Assembly

We wrapped up the school year with our final Cobra Coda Assembly on Monday. CVS would like to thank all students, teachers, support staff and parents for their contribution to our school community. We have made Crescentview 3.0 a community to be proud of and we could not have done it without everyone's hard work and dedication. We would like to acknowledge every student and family here at CVS for following our Cobra Code. You are what builds the fabric of this school. This is why we are here. #GoCobras #buildingcommunity

CVS Track & Field

Last week CVS Grade 5 to 8 students participated in a great day of track & field. The weather was great as records were broken, ribbons won, and most importantly, fun was had by all. Great job to all of our students for showing up and competing in their events and good luck to the Cobras track team next week at the Divisional Track & Field meet on June 4th at YQS. #trackday #GoCobras

CVS Writing Museum

This student led conferences CVS students celebrated their writing with our CVS Writing Museum. We have been learning all year to enrich our writing using Mentor texts with our resident author Carl Anderson! #ilovewriting #LiteracyMatters

Canadian Heritage Week

The second annual CVS Heritage Week was another success. Although we had to make some adjustments due to the extreme cold at the start of the week, and had to deal with some cancellations and postponements, students spent the week celebrating Canadian heritage. We are pround to be Canadian. #BuildingCommunityTogether

Moccasin Games & The Cultural Wheel

Mocassin games and the Cultural Wheel. CVS students were busy bringing some culture into the school with help from Mr. Ian Porteous and our divisional IAA crew. #buildingculture #ourcommunity
